SitBit Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SitBit ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

SitBit is for users 18 years and older only. You must be at least 18 years old to use this App. By using SitBit, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Description of Service

SitBit helps people build healthier daily habits during long work hours and beyond. The App provides desk exercises, movement reminders, snack tracking, streaks, daily quests, and group sports session features such as invites, field positions, and post-game ratings. All exercises and wellness suggestions are general guidance only.

4. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating or using your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We are not liable for losses caused by compromised accounts.

5. Use of the App

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App.
• Use the App for commercial purposes without permission.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the App.
• Use the App in violation of any laws or regulations.

6. Health and Safety

• SitBit exercises are general suggestions only.
• Stop immediately if you feel pain or discomfort.
• We are not liable for any injuries arising from use of the App.
• Consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns.

7. Content Ownership

• You own the content and data you create in the App, subject to our privacy policy and applicable law.
• We own the App, its branding, its software, and its underlying gamification systems.
• You grant us the rights needed to store, process, and display your progress and session-related content within the App.

8. Third-Party Services

SitBit uses third-party services such as Google Firebase for authentication, notifications, and data storage. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms.

9. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• You may delete your account at any time, which permanently erases your account data according to our privacy policy.
• Sections on liability, ownership, and indemnity survive termination.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties.
• We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or injuries.
• Total liability shall not exceed $100 USD.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may notify you of material changes through the App or by email.
